Do Republicans and Conservatives really believe in a smaller government?
Republicans/Conservatives have advocated things such as censorship of TV and radio, regulating marriage (i.e. banning gay marriage), and wanting creationism/intelligent design taught in school science classes and spying on citizens through GPS and wire tapping.
Okay… How do you get “regulating” marriage out of changing it’s definition?
Isn’t that like saying REGULATING a CAR by calling it a GOAT?
We don’t believe in CENSORSHIP – of TV and RADIO… you can say what you want… just keep it clean.
Not many of us think that CREATIONISM should be taught in schools – and especially NOT in SCIENCE CLASS. What we object to is: Science class being something besides SCIENCE… like “you can’t believe in Creationism”.
Finally we don’t spy on CITIZENS – we monitor SUSPECTS.
